This has been our first summer selling SLICE of LIFE Tees at food festivals, and we’ve gotten a lot out of it, in a variety of ways. So yeah… hurricane Irene. She was NOT a lot of fun here in Connecticut. All things considered, our area was fairly lucky. We had a fair amount of wind damage, but luckily, very little rain. We lost a good portion of one tree (and some fence), and power for a few days. But we had everything back & ready for the following weekend, which was good, since we had the first of many food festivals that weekend.
