A Food Porn Star, Out & About
It took longer than we had planned (finding the new printer took longer than we expected), but our new t-shirts, “Food Porn Star”, finally arrived via UPS the other day. We’re really pleased with the way they turned out, but we’re not happy with how long it took. It took almost a month from the time we approved the proof . That’s at LEAST a week too long. Ironically, in that time, it turns out another company bought our old printer (the company that folded). So we are in talks with them about possibly shifting over to them.
The saga continues, in other words.
There are advantages to the new company. First off, we’d be dealing with a local company again. We really like the idea of supporting local businesses. It saves us time, money & keeps things local. Also, their shirt inventory is much larger than the printer we had switched to. There are still a bunch of other questions – pricing, printing styles they have available, etc, but I’m cautiously optimistic.
But enough about printing woes. This is a picture of one of our favorite people, Denise, seen out wearing Food Porn Star. We love her to the ends of the earth & think she’s great – bold, brassy & with great foodie attitude, just like the shirt she’s wearing!
